Prefabricated Plug-and-Play Unitized Façade System for Deep Retrofitting: The RenoZEB Case Study

The retrofitting of the existing building stock is one most important goals to be pursued meet European targets. In this context, RenoZEB project has developed a modular methodology for deep buildings, which enabled by prefabricated plug-and-play façade that integrates different on-market technologies achieve nZEB standards. This article reports on activities conducted in study and design envelope system, providing insights tests results achieved with specific focus use technology laboratory facilities real-environment validation, revealed system line objectives.
